FOUR SIMPLE STEPS

Admissions Requirements

Each applicant must complete the following steps:

Online Application

Students and families begin the process by completing the online admissions form with accurate personal and academic information.

500‑Word Student Essay

Applicants submit a 500‑word essay responding to the prompt:



“Explain why you want to study Information Technology and how you plan to take responsibility for your learning.”


This essay helps us understand the student’s motivation, maturity, and readiness.

Interview or Orientation Session

Students participate in a brief interview or orientation to ensure they understand program expectations and are prepared for the pace of the academy.

Scholarship Upload or Payment Selection

  • Step Up For Students families upload their scholarship award documentation.
  • Non‑Step Up families select a payment option (pay in full, 3‑payment plan, or 4‑payment plan).

Program Expectations

Students admitted to Global Tech Academy agree to:

Attend scheduled classes and labs.

Complete assignments on time.

Participate actively in learning.

Maintain respectful conduct.

Communicate with instructors when support is needed.
